SALISBURY, Md. - Annie Louise Rice, 90, of Salisbury, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at her residence with her friend and care-giver, Julie Moore at her bedside. Born in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Robert Edward Dixon and Annie Bell Howie Dixon. She was a homemaker all of her life, but enjoyed being a Cub Scout Den Mother, Sunday School teacher and an excellent mother.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Dorothy Gay McCoy of Salisbury and Linda Christine Ehrisman & her husband, Richard of Delmar; 4 grandchildren, Michael McCormick, Jennifer Coburn & her husband, Dennis, Kevin McCoy and Adam Ehrisman; 3 great-grandchildren, Robbie Tyler, Kaleigh Coburn & Dean McCoy; 2 sisters, Gay Grove and Peggy Hendren, both of NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin F. Rice, Sr.; a son, Edwin F. Rice, Jr.; and 3 brothers and a sister.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Rev. Janelle Beiler will officiate. Memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O.
