Homemade Bomb Explodes Outside Dover Mall

DOVER, Del. - An explosion outside the Dover Mall has authorities on high alert.

Police say around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday someone set off a homemade soda bomb in-between two cars in the Sears parking lot. Fire Marshal's have deemed the area safe - but say a number of explosions involving homemade incendiary devices have occurred recently in the area. Anyone with information is asked to call crime stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
