MARDELA SPRINGS, Md. - Maryland State fire marshals are investigating after a Wicomico county home went up in flames.
Crews believe a lamp may have sparked the blaze on Cross Road in Mardela Springs. Luckily no one was injured, but the blaze caused an estimated $10,000 in damages. It took firefighters around 40 minutes to get the fire under control. Two people were living at the home, the red cross is now assisting the family.
