Peggy Frances Pixley

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. - Peggy Frances Pixley, 73, of Pocomoke City, died February 6, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born October 5, 1938 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Jean O'Connor. She was the Information Officer and Supervisor of the composing team in the printing unit of the Library of Congress for over 40 years. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Pocomoke City.

Preceding her in death was a son, David Pixley and a sister, Joan Dickerson. She is survived by a son, Marc L. Pixley and his wife Stacy of Pocomoke City, a sister, Geraldine Barrons and her husband Phillip of Detroit, four grandchildren, Caitlyn, Adam, Aaron and Cody Pixley, a daughter-in-law, Michelle Jankowski Pixley of Elkridge, and a brother-in-law, Alfred James Dickerson, Dunedin, FL.

Father William Porter will officiate a Mass of Christian burial on February 18, 2012 at 11:00AM at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, where friends and family may call one hour prior. There will be a private interment at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 107 Vine Street, Pocomoke City, Maryland 21851.
