UNIONVILLE, Md. - Leroy McKinley Skinner, 81 of Unionville,departed this life on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was born July 12, 1930 in Bridgeville, DE, son of the late Medford T. and Anna M. Harris Skinner. The family moved to Easton and began his education in the public schools of St. Michaels. He later became a graduate of Robert Russa Moton High School, Class of 1949.  Roy, as he was fondly called, was employed with Waverly Press. He was a faithful employee until his retirement in 1992 after 42 ½ years of service. He was a member of St. Pauls UM Church of Royal Oak. July 29, 1951 he was joined in Holy Matrimony to the former Anna Kellum. From this union three daughters were born Yvonne, Wanda and Tanya.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, William, Edward, James, Robert, Gladys, Anna R., Harold, Mabel and Corine. He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife, Anna Lee Skinner (Unionville); three daughters, Yvonne, Wanda and Tanya; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Andrew Skinner (Easton, MD); three sisters in-law, Doris Henson (Virgin Islands), Ola Rasin (Easton, MD); Susan Kellum (Easton, MD); three brothers in-law, Bernard Kellum Sr. (Easton, MD), Robert C. Dill ( Saint Mary's County) and Michael D. Brown ( Easton, MD ) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 1pm at Talbot Evangelist Church Oceangateway Easton, MD with a viewing one hour prior. Interment Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 10am at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery Hurlock, MD.
