GREENWOOD, Del. - Officials with Delaware Electric Cooperative (DEC) say as of a 10:00 a.m. Monday morning, power has been restored to most of their members, with only around 200 still without power.
The outages are affecting Co-op members west of Dover and west of Seaford. Officials say Delmarva Power is having issues with one of its transmission lines, which feeds DEC's substation west of Dover. Which left more than 5,000 DEC members in the dark.
Crews are working as fast as possible to restore power to everyone. No word yet on when everyone's electricity will be back up and running.
