SALISBURY, Md. - Bertha C. Smith, 80, of Salisbury, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Bertha was born on October 20, 1931 in McGinnes Corner, MD, to the late Thomas and Daisy Willey Trimble.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Salisbury where she was a member of the Methodist Women.
In addition to her parents, Bertha is preceded in death by a son; Earl Smith and her brothers; George, Phil and John Trimble.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years; Lester Smith of Salisbury, a son; Tony Smith and his wife Laura of Salisbury, a daughter; Barbara Klimasewski and her husband Dave of Dunellon, FL, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in Crumpton Cemetery in Crumpton, MD.
