SALISBURY, Md. - Wilson C. Disharoon, 88, of Salisbury, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012. He was born August 28, 1923 in Pocomoke City to the late Ray and Ruth Cooper Disharoon. Mr. Disharoon worked for many years for his father at Rays Auto Repair Service formerly of Salisbury and later for Powell Motor Company and Cavanaugh Motors. He was a WWII Army veteran. He loved to spend time with his family, gardening and had a great love for animals.

He is survived by his children: Lisa K. Larger of Salisbury, Patricia A. Elias of Purcellville, VA, Russell Ruark and his wife Ola of Bear, DE and Deborah Chamberlain and her husband Sonnie of Perryville, MO; 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his wife, Pauline Sturgis Disharoon and a brother, Clarence Disharoon.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Wicomico Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 12:30-1:30PM on Saturday at Holloway Funeral Home.
