WMDT 47 NEWS - Love is in the air, about 30,000 feet in the air to be exact. Now more and more people are taking flight and finding their fate in the seat next to them. However, others are making that connection then pulling the plug at baggage claim. Wemetonaplane.com is hoping to change that, by helping people rekindle that chemistry. Just type in your flight information, and find your match.
"It would be really neat to have that awesome story to tell people I guess. I don't know that would be really cool," said Salisbury resident, Meredith Emerson.
"I don't see meeting somebody that way as something that would happen, but I don't know," said Thomas Coleman, of Laurel, Delaware.
Kristin Kaufman, author of the book titled "Is This Seat Taken: Random Encounters That Change Your Life" says she doesn't believe in accidents.
"Those people that cross your path, are crossing your path absolutely, divinely for a reason, whether it's to teach you something or for you to teach them something," she said.
Kaufman says to be more open to those random encounters because you never know when cupid's arrow will strike. It could end up being a match made in heaven.
