ATV Crash Hospitalizes Two

DOVER, Del. - An ATV crash in Dover has landed a 21-year-old man and a toddler in the hospital.

Police say around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday Jeremy Cook and a 3-year-old boy were riding a four wheeler on Harriet Street - when the ATV came to a stop and then suddenly lurched forward. Both were thrown from the four wheeler. Cook was transported to Kent General Hospital for head trauma and remains hospitalized in a coma. The 3-year-old was treated and released with minor injuries. Officials say neither were wearing a helmet.
