CHESTER, Md. - Ernest Lee Graham Sr. (Banks) formerly of Chester died Sat. July 21, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. He was born September 11, 1940 in Lynchburg, Virginia son of the late Nettie & Frank Graham Sr. Although born in Virginia he was raised on the Eastern Shore. Ernest was a waterman for most of his life. Some of his hobbies were watching baseball (Orioles) and football (Redskins) games while eating plain UTZ potato chips and drinking a Sunkist Orange soda.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Frank Jr. Ernest leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Bertha "Lou" Graham (Annapolis, MD); a daughter, Delores "Plukie" Hawkins (Tyrone); two sons, Ernest Jr. (Rebecca) and Calvin (Peggy-Lee); three grandsons, Ernest III, Desmond and Chaz; two brothers, Clarence Graham and Paul Richardson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 28th 1pm at Union Wesley UM Church 110 Union Wesley Circle Chester, MD with a viewing one hour prior. Interment in the church cemetery.
