FRUITLAND, Md. - Helen Evans Willette, 72, of Fruitland, joined her Lord for eternal peace on Monday, January 30, 2012 at her home, surrounded by family. Helen enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors with mother nature's birds and squirrels. She also loved traveling with her family. She graduated from Selbyville High School in 1958. She retired from English's Family Restaurant in 2004.

Preceding her in death was her father; Samuel Elbert Evans, Sr. She is survived by her husband; Theodore J. Willette, Jr. of Fruitland, MD, a daughter; Susan P. Chamberlain and her husband Stephen of Salisbury, MD, a son; Stephen W. Payne and his wife Stacey of Pocomoke, MD, her mother; Harriet A. Evans of NC, three grandchildren; Allen, Diana, and Logan, and her brother; Samuel Elbert Evans, Jr. and his wife Patricia B. of NC.

A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Delmarva Evangelistic Church, 407 Gordy Road, Salisbury, MD, where friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service. Flowers may be sent to the church or memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
