CHRISTIANA, Del. (AP) - State police say a man was arrested after he tried to elude troopers in a stolen SUV. A trooper spotted the vehicle heading south on Delaware 7 on Saturday afternoon. It had been reported stolen earlier in the day in Wilmington. The trooper tried to pull over the driver, who didn't stop, instead speeding into a residential development. Troopers used their cards to block traffic, leading to a collision involving two other vehicles. No one was seriously injured. Police say the driver, 37-year-old Reginald Brown of Newark, continued trying to elude police even after he stopped his car. Troopers removed him from the car by force and used an electronic
stun gun to subdue him. He faces a variety of charges, including receiving stolen property, traffic and drug offenses.
