WESTOVER, Md. - A Somerset County school isn't making the grade.
The superintendent tells WMDT, Crisfield High hasn't made the adequate yearly progress in 4 years because of low graduation numbers. Now the school is under restructuring status. One option, is to consolidate Crisfield with Washington High School. But some students, parents, and educators are up in arms about the idea who say smaller classes are better.
There will be a public meeting Thursday February 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at Somerset Intermediate school. March 14th is the deadline for a plan, and April 24th the board will present their plan to the state.
