FRUITLAND, Md. - A Fruitland family is without a home after a fire ripped their house early Monday morning.
Fire crews were called to the 29,000 block of Mill Stream drive around 6:00 a.m. It took 35 firefighters an hour to control the blaze. Thankfully no one was injured - but the fire caused around $350,000 in damages. Officials believe the blaze that started in the garage was accidental - and caused by a natural gas furnace malfunctioning.
