MARDELA SPRINGS, Md. - A massive fire tore through a building in Mardela Springs just after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Nine fire departments responded to the scene - and it took 50 firefighters over an hour to get the blaze under control. Officials say the building on the corner of Bridge and Main street used to be a grocery store - but has been vacant for about 5 years.
No word yet on what sparked the fire - but investigators haven't ruled out arson.
