SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury-Ocean City-Wicomico Regional Airport established two new records in 2011. Piedmont Airlines hit a new all-time annual passenger record by flying 143,736 passengers through the airport last year; the previous record being 142,391. Another record to note, Midwest Air Traffic Control Services recorded a record 12,840 Military aircraft operations in 2011.
