Troopers Investigate Valero Shore Stop Robbery

FREDERICA, De.,- Troopers are investigating the robbery of the Valero Shore Stop that occurred on Bay Road in Frederica. The incident occurred at 8:00 p.m. as a male suspect entered the business with a dark bandana covering his face and approached the 52 year old female employee. The suspect implied that he had a gun and demanded money from the cash register. The victim complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled the business on foot in an unknown direction.  If anyone has any information in reference to this incident, they are asked to contact the Troop 3 Major Crimes Unit at 302-741-2700 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
