WMDT 47 News - Delmarva's ChoiceMarquis Lupton

Hello, I'm Marquis Lupton and I joined the WMDT 47 News Team as a general assignment reporter/producer in November 2011. Before coming to 47 News, I was a production assistant in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for WHP, the CBS affiliate. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in Communications Journalism, and later completed my Masters in Telecommunication Management at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.

While at Morgan State, I was able to intern at CBS for "The Early Show", as well as CNN in Washington D.C. While at CNN, I was able to work alongside Wolf Blitzer in "The Situation Room", and be present at the Secretary of Defense briefings in the Pentagon. When the earthquake in Haiti hit, I stayed in direct contact with the producers and reporters that were at ground zero, as well as experiencing the "madness" the shooting at the Pentagon brought to the newsroom.

I was born in a small town called Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and am excited to call the Eastern Shore home. When I'm not out chasing leads, and knocking on doors, you can see me knocking down jump shots at your local playground in the Delmarva area.
