WMDT Says Goodbye To Ryan Hughes

SALISBURY, Md. - WMDT is saying goodbye to Weekday Reporter Ryan Hughes. Ryan will be joining WFMZ 69 News based out of Allentown, PA. Ryan has been with WMDT since February of 2010.

While at WMDT, Ryan's work was recognized by the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association for his work on a piece called "Project Playground." He was also involved in community projects, raising money for the Alzheimer's Association and riding in the 2010 Seagull Century. He was also co-emcee of the 2011 Free To Breathe Delmarva 5K. Ryan was involved in both Extreme Makeover:Home Edition builds on Delmarva.

Ryan will be missed at the station and WMDT wishes him the best of luck with his new job. WMDT Reporter Marquis Lupton will be taking over Ryan's role with the station. Marquis joined the company in November of 2011.
