John Hall Nominated New Wicomico County Councilman

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. - Wicomico County has voted in its newest council member to fill the seat of the late Bob Caldwell. John Hall will now serve on the council for the reminder of Caldwell's term. He currently owns Halls Tidewater Travel Agency in Salisbury, which is one of the reasons why the council says they chose him. Council President, Gail Bartkovich, says because he is a local business man, he can bring incite to the county.

"The council members thought that he would be a tremendous benefit in this economy particularly, when we start going through the budget and looking at how the county taxpayers' dollars are spent," said Bartkovich. @

Officials say John Hall will be sworn in during the next council meeting on December 6th at 6 PM.
