Persimmon Bread

2 cups of sifted flour
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup of chopped nuts
1/4 cup of raisins
1 tsp baking soda
1 and 1/2 sticks of butter
1 cup of persimmon (Kaki) pulp or 1 and 1/2 cup of native
(Virginia) persimmon

Cream butter and sugar, add/mix in eggs, add/mix flour, soda, pulp.
Mix well. Finally blend in nuts and raisins. Grease bread pan, add mixture. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
