SALISBURY, Md. - After seven and a half years with the station, Stacy Sakai is saying goodbye to WMDT. Stacy will be exploring career opportunities in California to be closer to home. She began her career as a Reporter back in May of 2003. Stacy quickly stepped behind the desk to anchor, but never left her reporting behind.

Charity work was also a big part of her time on Delmarva. Stacy was crowned Queen of Mardi Gras by the Parrothead Club after raising more than $10,000 in two months for Women Supporting Women, a breast cancer support group. She also participated in Dancing With Delmarva Stars, which raised over $50,000 for a Cancer Support Group. She hosted and walked in many events from the Alzheimer's Association to Paws for a Cause.

Stacy will be truly missed and WMDT wishes her the best of luck on her journey out West.
