WMDT 47 News - Delmarva's ChoiceAlyana Gomez

     Hello, I am Alyana Gomez, your noon anchor and weekday reporter.  You can find me out in the field chasing a great story, and really getting to know YOU, Delmarva! I joined the news team in June of 2010.

     I graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, and always knew I wanted to be on television!  Prior to this, I began my career in journalism as an intern writing news for The Daily Times. I was able to utilize the skills I learned there, to be able to tell your stories here.  

     When I am not getting the scoop, I am out enjoying the company of friends and family. I enjoy trying new dishes, seeing the latest action or horror flick, and getting my exercise through dance.
