TEMPERANCEVILLE, Va. - Police say that five people were injured in a crash that happened on Wednesday morning in Accomack County.
At 7:52 a.m., troopers responded to a two vehicle crash on Route 13 near the intersection of Temperanceville Road.
The driver of a four door, a New Jersey woman, was traveling southbound on Route 13 when she reportedly crossed over the center line and struck a Ford Pickup operated by a Greenbush man.
The driver of the four door, along with three juvenile passengers, were taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. One of the juvenile passengers was flown from the scene by the Maryland State Police helicopter.
Serious injuries were reported in the crash, but all are expected to survive. Speed, nor alcohol, was a factor in the crash.
Route 13 was completely reopened at 9:08 a.m. Police say that the Atlantic Fire Department and the Virginia Department of Transportation responded to the collision.

According to Virginia State Police, at 7:52 a.m., police learned about a crash with injuries on Route 13 near the Corner Mart in Temperanceville.
Responding troopers said that all north bound and southbound lanes on Route 13 were blocked and a medical helicopter was in route; however, as of 9:30 a.m., US 13 northbound as cleared and all lanes are open.
