Police: Suspect wanted for robbing Red Door Sub Shop in Salisbury; no one hurt

SALISBURY, Md. - Police say that they are looking for a suspect, who arm robbed a sub shop in Salisbury, on Monday night.

According to Salisbury Police, officers responded to the Red Door Sub Shop on South Salisbury Boulevard at 10:25 PM, for the report of an armed robbery.

Upon their arrival, victims/employees said that they were approached by a male suspect, who went up to an employee outside by the dumpsters, while bringing out the trash.

The suspect, who was armed with a handgun, reportedly walked the employee back inside of the building. There, the suspect allegedly then took charge of the other employees and had them take money from the registers and from the safe inside of the business.

The suspect also reportedly demanded money from three employees. The suspect fled the business afterwards in an unknown direction with one of the employee's vehicles. The vehicle was later returned. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a light skinned man, late 20s to early 30s, about six feet tall, medium building with green/hazel eyes. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants during the incident and wore a bandana to cover his face.
