Police searching for man accused of assaulting, cutting two men in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly assaulted two victims on Jefferson Street early Thursday morning.

At around 1:45 AM, officers responded to a report of an assault in the 600 block of Jefferson Street. On scene, police found two victims, a 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, who were reportedly cut during a domestic altercation.

Police say the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Carlos Gerald of Salisbury, was in an argument with the two victims and then reportedly stabbed both of them with what police describe as a sharp implement. Gerald fled the scene before police arrived, officials said.

Officers are currently searching for Gerald in relation to this incident, police said.
