HURLOCK, Md. - The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office says a Hurlock man was arrested early Saturday on a drug charge after he was reportedly found sleeping on a road.
A deputy responded at around 3 AM Saturday to a report of someone laying in the roadway of Osbourne Road in Hurlock. Upon arrival, the deputy reportedly found a man sleeping in the road and woke him up.
Police say the suspect, identified as Eric Scott Quinn, 18, was found during a search to be in possession the opioid pain medication tramadol without a prescription. The deputy also reportedly found a small quantity of marijuana.
Quinn was arrested and charged with possession of tramadol and given a civil citation for possession of marijuana under 10 grams. Quinn has been committed on a $3,000 bond, officials said.
