Parkside teacher wins 'Teacher Who...

SALISBURY, Md. - Antoinette Daniel is October's 'Teachers Who Make A Difference' winner.

47 ABC, with the help of Parkside principal Kimberly Pinkey, surprised Daniel this morning in front of a class filled with her students.

With watery eyes Daniel told 47 ABC that being nominated by one of her students means so much, knowing she's making a positive impact, especially since that's why Daniel teaches.

"I feel humbled. I come to school everyday hoping to just teach and touch one life and it's an honor to teach my students. They call me mom and I feel like that's such a rewarding label to be given throughout the course of the day," says Daniel.

If you have a teacher who you think is making a huge difference in our community make sure you nominate them for November's award.
