No injuries after shots fired in home in Queen Anne's County

QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY, Md. - Officials say that they are searching for a suspect who shot into a home last night in Queen Anne's County.

According to the sheriff's office, around 8:30 pm, a victim was at her kitchen table with her kids on Benton's Pleasure Road, when she heard a loud bang and a bullet hole appeared in the wall. No one was injured.

Officials say that other witnesses thought the shooting was something else.

Deputies have received calls about shots in in other parts of the county, including Cox Neck and Dominion, over the past two months but they did not appear to be related to the calls on Cox Creek.
