Seaford Police looking for suspect after shooting

SEAFORD, Del. - Police say that they are looking for a suspect after an 18-year-old man was shot in Seaford on Wednesday morning.

According to Seaford Police, at 12:34 a.m., officers responded to the area of Route 13 Alternate and Virginia Avenue for a complaint of a person being shot.

When officers arrived, it was found that the 18-year-old victim was shot once in the chest by an unknown suspect in a black Lincoln Navigator. The victim was taken by a private car to Nanticoke Hospital where he was admitted to the hospital and is being treated for his wounds.

Delaware Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects involved.
