Police looking for Rehoboth robbery suspect

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Police say that they are investigating a robbery that happened in Rehoboth Beach on Monday evening.

According to Delaware State Police, at 7:54 PM on Monday evening, a man went into Leather Central on Rehoboth Avenue extended, Unit A in Rehoboth Beach. The suspect reportedly approached a store employee at the counter, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

Police say that the store employee followed the demand and turned over an unknown amount of cash. The clerk was not injured. The suspect is described as being over 6'00" tall, 200-225 pounds and between 25 and 35 years old.

Police say that he was wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt, light colored pants and light colored shoes. The suspect reportedly covered his face with a mask.
