Man injured after car strikes telephone pole in Frederica

FREDERICA, Del. - Police say that a man was injured after his car struck a telephone pole in Frederica on Wednesday morning.

According to the Frederica Volunteer Fire Company, officials responded to Barretts Chapel Road at 10:18 PM after a man's car hit a telephone pole.

Officials say that the man suffered non-life threatening injuries, and that he was treated at Kent General Hospital as a result.

Barrett's Chapel Road was closed for 30 minutes.
