Lewes man wanted for reportedly assaulting his girlfriend

MILLSBORO, Del. - Delaware State Police are looking for a man who reportedly kidnapped and assaulted his girlfriend.

DSP say that they are currently investigating an alleged assault that happened on Sunday, in Millsboro. Troopers say they are looking for 27-year-old Michael Debarr, of Lewes, who is wanted in connection with this incident.

According to the police report, Debarr reportedly physically assaulted his girlfriend after he forced her into his vehicle, and would not allow her to get out. Officials say Debarr may be driving a silver 2001 Nissan Quest with a Delaware registration, PC445490.

Authorities say Debarr is wanted for kidnapping second degree, strangulation, terroristic threatening, assault third degree, and various traffic related offenses.
