UPDATE: Georgetown police arrest suspect for robbery and carjacking

GEORGETOWN, Del. - On Monday police arrested a man in connection to a robbery and carjacking from last month.

Georgetown police spotted Michael Lopez in the parking lot of the Georgetown McDonald's and took Lopez into custody without incident.

Reportedly, Lopez was charged with robbery first degree, two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, two counts of aggravated menacing, two counts of unlawful imprisonment first degree, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and carjacking.

Lopez was arraigned at the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to Sussex Correctional Institute in place of a $318,000 cash bond.
