CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Cambridge Police pulled over a car Wednesday evening for driving against the state of emergency order.
They say the driver refused to pull over and elude them, but turned from Washington Street onto St. Clair Avenue where it got stuck in the snow.
Three people then jumped out of the car and took off on foot.
The driver 22-year-old John Collins of Rhodesdale, Maryland and the front seat passenger 25-year old Vaughn Jones of Cambridge, Maryland were caught and arrested.
Police say Collins was driving on a suspended driver's license, and that Jones was wanted on an outstanding warrant for 13 counts of animal cruelty.
Police also say 22.3 grams of marajuana was taken from the floor of the front passenger's seat.
Both are facing multiple charges and are being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
Collins' bond has been set at $100,000, Jones' is set at $105,000.
