Hi Delmarva! I'm Hayley Milon, a sports anchor/reporter. I come from Washington D.C., where I was born and raised and attended George Washington University. I come from a family that loves . . . I mean . . . WORSHIPS sports. I rode horses competitively growing up and my mom taught me how to ride when I was five. I'm lucky enough to have a big brother, Colin, who taught me, the hard way, how to take a tackle, always keep your eye on the ball and not to complain about working hard. My dad coached both of us and drove us all over the country for tournaments. My brother played baseball for GWU, so I got to catch plenty of his games. He then went on to play some pro ball. I knew I wanted to be a sportscaster when I was 10-years-old and watching the Little League World Series (which in my mind, is still the pinnacle of sporting events). At GW, I was a sports director of the student TV station. I interned and worked at Comcast Sportsnet Mid-Atlantic. I also worked as a ballpark correspondent for MLB, covering the Washington Nationals. After graduating, I went to work for Monumental Sports and Entertainment, the ownership of the Washington Wizards, Capitals, and Mystics. There, I hosted Wizards and Capitals live pre-game and post-game shows. I also hosted a Wizards Magazine on WUSA9 and Caps Red Line on NHL Network, while doing sideline work for CSN Mid-Atlantic. I am so excited to be in a community that love sports as much as Delmarva. I can't wait to tell your sports stories, so please don't hesitate to contact me with ideas, or even to just say hello!
