The Baltimore Ravens are donating $1 million to help Houston citizens recover from the overwhelming damage caused by Hurricane Harvey.
There's big news from the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES). Earlier this week they activated their disaster relief fund for victims of Hurricane Harvey. Thursday, they told 47 ABC that an anonymous donor has pledged to match $25,000 towards relief efforts. That's on top of the $5,000 matching pledge from CFES itself. All of that money will be distributed to the Greater Houston Community Foundation's Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.
During a time of great need, compassion and generosity of people is more evident. Agencies like FEMA know this which is why they are asking volunteers follow a few guidelines to ensure their support goes along way to victims of Harvey.
