SALISBURY, Md. - The Port of Salisbury Marina re-opened today at 3:00 p.m. The marina is located downtown at 506 W. Main Street. Port of Salisbury is a full service marina with free Wi-Fi internet, bicycles for transportation, showers and a barbeque and picnic area. Salisbury Marina Project Engineer, Weston Young says, "Improvements to the Port of Salisbury Marina, including the new fuel tanks, are thanks in large part to the Waterway Improvement Fund grant through the Department of Natural Resources Boating Services as well as the City Council.
Michael Murray, Marina Commission Chairman says, "I am pleased to see the marina is back in full swing once again with fuel accessibility drawing our community and local boaters as well as transients. On behalf of myself and the Marina Committee, I would like to thank all past and present mayors and councils that have helped make the marina become what it is today.
