Maryland - A statewide effort is underway in Maryland to help some residents find and retain jobs.


On Tuesday, Senator Barbara Mikulski announced new funding for a statewide workforce development initiative in the state. $725,000 will be available to agencies to provide job training and support services to 500 low-income, and mentally ill residents each year.
