Delmarva - Two Delmarva families spent Christmas in temporary shelter.
The local Red Cross assisted a family of six living on Washington Street in Cambridge after a fire blazed through their home.
Another fire also ripped through a house on Benson Road in Lincoln, Delaware, on Friday.
The organizations urges residents to keep checking and replacing the batteries in their smoke detectors.
